Reflections Contest

We are so proud of Aaron! His artwork, "Bluebonnets on a Hill" has been selected to represent Wedgewood Elementary at the State Competition. We will find out sometime in March if he will go on to represent Texas. The theme was "Beauty Is..." and when we asked him what he wanted to draw that he thought was beautiful, he immediately said "bluebonnets." (we had just been to Brenham if that says anything!) Stay tuned for results on our "budding" little artist.

Girls' Night Out Gifts

I had so much fun making all these bags for my girlfriends. I've been wanting to try and make my own cute martini glasses for a while and this seemed like the perfect occasion. Inside each bag was stationery, a frame, martini glass, and CD. We stayed at the Magnolia Hotel and had dinner at Sambuca's. The next day we went shopping and then had a slumber party at Michelle's house. If you haven't played the game "Things", you have to go buy it, get a group of friends together and play! It's hilarious. Good times with some great friends.

Stupid Dog...

My mini-schnauzer, Kosmo, has a really bad habit.... You think he would have learned his leasson on Thursday when he got in my Wal-Mart bag, OPENED the bag of Valentine hearts and ate half the bag. Then proceeded to throw up for literally an hour. (I spared y'all the picture of that one.) Then, I had my bag of goodies left over from the boys' Valentine parties in the living room and while I took the boys to school, guess who found the Blow Pops. Yep. Kosmo. The bad thing is I counted five sticks minus the candy and gum... Needless to say he is outside in the cold this morning... DO NOT feel bad for him.

The funny thing is we actually do have a smart dog. Her name is Annie. When I walked in and saw Kosmo with bits of Blow Pop all over his mouth and fur, Annie just crouched down on her belly and looked at me. As if to say..."I told that stupid puppy not to do that, but he didn't listen to me." Why? Why? Why do we have dogs?
